INDEPENDENCE–A grandmother from Independence, Stann Creek District, has reported to police that on Sunday, October 19, a 25-year-old neighbor of hers sexually molested her 5-year-old grandson, and bit the child’s penis while performing oral sex on the boy.
A medical examination was conducted on the child, and his injury was classified as harm.
Police said that the man has since been arrested, and was charged with aggravated assault and rape of a child in the Independence Magistrate’s Court yesterday, Monday, after which he was remanded to the Belize Central Prison.
