Five countries were represented in the competition with Progresso Cemento of Guatemala capturing the title, after defeating Marte Lotin of El Salvador by a 4-1 score in the championship game. The host country, Nicaragua, placed 3rd, Belize 4th, and Honduras 5th.

Aside from receiving the Most Wins Award (her ERA was 1.62), Kenreen Gillett was also named to the Central American All Stars Team. Joining Kenreen on the All Stars Team were Belize’s Shadalee Ho and Lisa Jones, who shared the home run title (one HR each) with Janny Ramirez of Nicaragua.
