BELMOPAN, Sun.. Oct. 7, 2018– The Belmopan Football Association (BFA) had another action-packed weekend of football, with games in the BFA U-21 Tournament as well as in the Hon. John Saldivar Kids, Youth & Female Cup 2018 Tournament, all at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium.

In the opener on Friday night, (U-21) Club Atletico won, 5-3, over Ramon United. Shaking the net for Club Atletico were Jashua Salazar (37’ & 62’), Alence Ayala (73’ & 88’) and Ariel Maldonado (82’); while Ramon’s United got a goal each from Carlysie Wallace (58’), Damion Valdez (72’) and Jacinto Vasquez (80’). And in the nightcap, it was Spanish Lookout with the 5-1 victory over Real Juventud. Spanish Lookout got 4 goals from Kelvin Dueck (5’, 45’, 60’ & 67’) and the other from Carlos Sanchez (18’); while Hiram Carrillo (21’) scored for Real Juventud.

In game 1 on Saturday, October 6, (Female U-17) BMP Compre Girls drew, 1-1, with San Martin Medina Girls. Mikayla Munro (35’) put Compre Girls in front, but Sherlene Gomez (47’) equalized for Medina Girls. Game 2 (Female U-17) saw Las Flores Girls shutting out Bandits Girls, 2-0, with both goals from Jennifer Linarez (49’ & 50’).  Game 3 (U-15) was a 2-2 draw between Armenia and San Martin Medina. Armenia goals were by Ian Garcia (32’) and Gabriel Rodriguez (36’), while for San Martin it was Beliz Trujillo (14’) and Junior Linarez (24’). In game 4, (U-15) YWAM Valencia got a goal each from Ganadi Castillo (44’) and Dylan Gongora (49’), to register the 2-0 win over Bandits. In game 5, (U-15) Mountain View Revolution bombed Salvapan FC, 5-0, with goals from Payvan Guy (9’ & 43’), Jahmani Hope (26’ & 38’) and Antwone Baptise (30’). And in game 6, (U-21) Las Flores edged Napoles, 3-2, with all 3 goals from Jorge Hidalgo (28’, 37’ & 69’), while Napoles got a goal apiece from Kenroy Wagner (18’) and Kenroy Cal (20’).

Sunday’s game 1 (U-17) saw BMP Compre Boys crushing Bandits, 5-nil, with goals from Francis Kib (7’ & 16’), Isaiah Reyes (17’ & 27’) and Andy Umana (26’). Game 2 (U-17) was a 1-0 win for Piccini Rising Stars over Mountain View Revolution, courtesy of a goal by Marlon Gonzalez (42’). Game 3 (U-15) saw Piccini Rising Stars with another 1-0 win, this time over San Martin Medina, with Adrian Grajalez (35’) scoring the only goal. In game 4, (U-21) Harmonyville dropped Ramon United, 7-2, with 4 goals from Omni Sebastian (9’, 38’, 65’ & 80’) and 2 from Kevin Lopez (48’ & 83’) along with an own goal by Jonathan Aleman (43’ OG) of Ramon United; while Ramon got a goal apiece from Tylor Orellano (23’) and John Villacorta (35’). And in game 5 to end the day, (U-21) it was San Martin Medina, 2-1, over Spanish Lookout. Marconi Obando (3’) gave Spanish Lookout the early lead, but San Martin responded with a goal apiece from Jose Aldana (18’) and Michael Robinson (87’).
