Bowen and Bowen delivery truck robbed on Mahogany Street

CrimeBowen and Bowen delivery truck robbed on Mahogany Street

Three Bowen and Bowen deliverymen were held up and robbed at gunpoint at the corner of Mahogany Street Extension and Santa Barbara Street at about 2:45 yesterday afternoon. The three thieves got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Jermaine Castillo, 30, a deliveryman at Bowen and Bowen Co. Ltd., told police that he and his two co-workers were making a delivery at the business place at the corner of Santa Barbara and Mahogany Street when he was approached by three dark-complexion men, one of whom pulled out a firearm and pointed it at him, demanding money.

Fearing for his life and the lives of his workers, said Castillo, he handed over the money and the thieves all rode away on their bicycles on Mahogany Street, in the direction of Partridge Street.

Police searched the area, but could not find the thieves.
