Business as usual after the elections for the City Council

LettersBusiness as usual after the elections for the City Council
Dear Editor,

Three week ago a crew cleaned the drains on King Street, removing the mud and garbage that were piled under my kitchen window.

I asked the workers when it would be removed; I was informed a truck would follow and it would be removed the same day.

One week later, it was still there, with the odor coming in my windows with the breeze.

Three weeks later and two trips to the Council’s office, and this mess is still under my kitchen window.

New mayor, new Council, same inefficiency.

Samuel Salter
