HeadlineCop accused of having sex with two 15-year-old girls

SAN IGNACIO–A policeman, 28, of Seine Bight, has been detained pending charges of multiple counts of carnal knowledge of two under-aged girls, both 15. He is already on interdiction from duty for a previous carnal knowledge charge.

On Friday morning, a San Ignacio girl reported that he held her for two days in the Cayo area, from Wednesday to Friday morning, during which time he had sex with her, and the other girl, also 15, from Esperanza, reported that he took her to a house while she was in Seine Bight on Saturday and had sex with her early Sunday morning, at about 2:00.

The policeman is presently in police custody in Seine Bight, where he had allegedly had sex with the second 15-year-old girl.

Superintendent Dinsdale Thompson, Commander of San Ignacio police, said that after the officer has been arraigned for that charge in the south, he will be taken back to the San Ignacio Police Station to face additional charges of carnal knowledge.

On Wednesday, November 12, the father of the first 15-year-old girl, from San Ignacio, alleged to police that the officer from Seine Bight held his under-aged daughter for two days and two nights in San Ignacio, during which time he had sex with her.

The father told police that at 7:15 that Wednesday morning, his daughter, a student at a high school in Santa Elena, left home en route to school and did not return home.

She was last seen Wednesday evening walking with the police officer. They were on the George Price Highway heading towards San Ignacio Town.

On Friday, the girl’s father and other people who were out looking for her, found her in San Ignacio around 9 o’clock in the morning walking on Joseph Andrews Drive with the police officer.

The girl was taken to the San Ignacio Hospital, where a doctor certified that she had been carnally known.

The officer then disappeared from San Ignacio.

Yesterday afternoon, Sunday, a girl from Esperanza, who had been visiting Seine Bight, went to the San Ignacio Police Station accompanied by a social worker and her mother, and reported that at about 2:00 yesterday morning, while at the residence of the officer in Seine Bight, he had sex with her.

The girl travelled back to Esperanza, where she told her mother what had happened, and they went to the police, where she made a formal report.

Police took the girl to the San Ignacio Hospital, where a medical examination certified that she had been carnally known.

San Ignacio police, working with Placencia police, picked up the policeman in Seine Bight yesterday, and took him into custody, where he is detained pending the outcome of the investigations.
