BELIZE CITY, Wed. May 30, 2018– Greetings from the Belize National Cricket Association (BNCA)!

The results of the matches played on Saturday, May 26, in the Sir Barry Bowen Harrison Parks Cricket 2018 Competition are as follows:

Easy Does It won over Rural Mix with a score of 210 to 112. For Easy Does It, Glenford Banner top scored with 65 runs, and Norman Revers and Kenroy Reynolds took 4 wickets each.

For Rural Mix, Ashton Vaccaro top scored with 17 runs, and Randy Rhaburn, Jr. took 4 wickets.

Wicked 11 won over BDF with a score of 116 to 79 runs.  For Wicked 11, Travis Robinson top scored with 41 runs; and Winston Dawson, Andrew Banner, Sr., Edison Robinson and Keon Robinson took 2 wickets each. For BDF, Jarvis Wade top scored with 33 runs; and Ordel and Lloyd Casasola took 3 wickets each.

Sunrise won over Suga Boys with a score of 133 to 129 with 7 spare wickets. For Sunrise, Ahmad Shaw top scored with 59 runs, and Zaggi and Khalid took 3 wickets each. For Suga Boys – no stats available.

Police won over Old Youths with a score of 26 to 25 runs with no fallen wickets (10 spare).  For Police, Gareth Banner Jr., top scored with 20 runs and took 4 wickets. Big Up to this youth; he just keeps getting better and better!! For Old Youths – no stats available.

Western Eagles vs Big Deal. Western Eagles won as Big Deal was unable to make team.
Matches scheduled for this weekend, June 2 & 3, are as follows:

Summer Fever vs Old Youths in Bermudian Landing
Rural Mix vs Police in Belmopan
Western Eagles vs Easy Does It in Lemonal
(NOTE:  Sunrise vs BDF in Lords Bank, previously scheduled for June 2, has been postponed until June 9.)

Old Youths vs Easy Does It in Lemonal

This week’s picture (above) features Sunrise Cricket Club of Lords Bank Village, being captained by Gareth Joseph. With their big win against Suga Boys on Saturday, May 26, this team is looking to clinch a spot in the 2018 playoffs; but Berlan still has a say on how it will all go down!

Next weekend is the final games for the regular competition; and if all goes as planned, the playoffs should commence on June 16.
