BELIZE CITY, Mon. Nov. 9, 2015–The Conscious Youth Development Council (CYDP) Peace Cup football tournament continued with Week 10 games on Saturday, November 7, at the MCC Grounds, despite the deep trenches still around the perimeter of the playing field.

In game 1, Hattieville United and Uprising Stars played to a 1-1 draw. Albert Arnold shook the net for Hattieville, while Harold Thompson scored for Uprising Stars.

Game 2 was a blowout, as Mahogany Heights bombed Jerusalem, 8-nil, with goals from James Fitzgibbon (2), Tyrone Gladden, Yasani Ramirez (3) and Randy Castillo (2).

Game 3 was another lop sided score, as Tut Bay dropped Los Lagos, 6-1, behind goals from Brian Martinez (2), Kevin Rowland (2) and Delroy Flowers (2). The lone tally for Los Lagos was by Hosni Turton.

Game 4 was a highly anticipated encounter, not only because both teams entered the game undefeated, but one of them, Kraal Road, featured the top goal scorer by far in the tournament, Charles Cantun with 13 goals. When it was over, Kraal Road remained undefeated, as Keenen Gillett blasted a shot from just beyond the penalty arc past Stanley “Jordan” Reneau in goal for Kelly Street, to give Kraal Road the 1-nil victory. As expected, Cantun was closely marked, and was often the target of rough play, but referee Wilhelm “London” White seemed of the opinion that Cantun was “diving,” and thus did not give him much protection.

11:00 a.m. – The New Revolution vs Exodus United Democracia
