The game, which first began last Saturday night on the island of San Pedro Ambergris Caye, had to be completed this Wednesday, June 14, in Belize City, due to the rains which came just before the third quarter could commence in San Pedro. At that point the Tigersharks were enjoying a 40-38 lead.

When the game resumed on Wednesday night the Tigersharks were able to increase this lead with their frontline players of American import Lawrence Culver, Ernest Broaster and Keith Acosta outplaying the much smaller Nets? frontline.

The defending champs entering tonight?s game, aware of the importance of this game, know from past experience that there is no room for error. It is simply ?win or go home.? The Keith Acosta-led Tigersharks, for their part, recognize the importance of closing out this series as quickly as possible, and realize that their most dangerous enemy could be complacency.

Wednesday night the Tigersharks were led by Keith Acosta 24 points 5 rebounds and Lawrence Culver 16 points 4 rebounds, while the Nets? scoring was led by Paul Swasey 22 points 11 rebounds followed by AC Augustine 14 points 12 rebounds.
