Dr. Chimilio has since returned, and in a telephone conversation yesterday emphatically denied that he had left any acting president to hold over the affairs of the FFB. He further said that Mr. Davis had acted on his own and was wrong to use the name of the federation.

The FFB has now issued the following ?official? press release.

Thru this medium, the Football Federation of Belize categorically states that NO Extra Ordinary General Assembly Meeting has been convened for this coming Sunday, July 22, 2006.

Furthermore because of actions taken against the Federation, the following persons, namely Mr. Ray Davis, Dr. Miguel Rosado and Mr. Marlon Kuylen, have been temporarily suspended from all football related activities pending a final ruling by the Disciplinary Committee of the Federation.?

This newspaper made several attempts to contact Mr. Davis, a sportsman, former coach and sports administrator of many years standing, to get a response to this new development, but to no avail.
