Football flashback, 3 BEC players circa 1962-63

Current Belize City taxi driver Bert Cattouse gave us this picture some months ago. It features three members of an early 1960’s BEC squad, including Bert, who said he left Belize in 1964 for some thirty-five years. The picture appears to have been taken at the BEC football field, where now stands a fire station, the Atlantic Bank building and various house lots between Freetown Road and the riverside.
