Last night, police learnt of an aggravated assault case involving a man and his girlfriend. Marlon Vasquez, 22, and his girlfriend were buying hotdogs at the popular hotdog stand located in the Battlefield Park on Albert Street sometime around 11:00 when suddenly a man held a gun to his head and threatened him.

The assailant, who was dressed in a black T-shirt and a green ¾ pants and stood about 6 feet 2 inches in height, held a black 9-millimeter handgun to the back of Vasquez’s head, but did not make any demands from either the victim or his girlfriend.

According to police the only thing the gunman said was, “Right ina dis spot I wa pull the trigger the next time”.

After saying this, the assailant walked toward the swing Bridge.
