Jamie Flowers, 26, a victim of latest shooting

GeneralJamie Flowers, 26, a victim of latest shooting
The mother of Jamie Flowers, 26, confirmed tonight that he has survived a murder attempt tonight at about 7 o’clock. It is unclear if he was the intended target, but nevertheless, his family is very grateful that he survived the near-deadly attack.

Details are not yet forthcoming, but Flowers, a resident of Pine Street, on the southside of Belize City, was shot three times; a bullet grazed the right side of his head, and he was shot once in the right arm and once in the left leg.

His mother said that though none of the injuries was life-threatening, the doctors were in the process of taking him to do an x-ray and other tests to see the extent of his injuries.

She told us that her son has no affiliation with gangs, and only he and a few other witnesses know how the attack occurred.
