In the Master category, it was Michael Lewis of Peyrefitte Bros. who took first place, followed by Charles Lewis, also of Peyrefitte Bros., in second; and Ray Cattouse of C-Ray Cycling Team in third. In the Junior Race, Geovanni Choto of Western Spirit was first; Darnell Barrow of Guinness Smiling finished second; and John Olivera of Belmopan Cycling took third place.
AMANDALA, a biweekly newspaper published on Tuesdays and Fridays, was founded as an organ of the United Black Association for Development (UBAD), which emerged on August 13, 1969. Even after UBAD was divided and later dissolved in 1974, AMANDALA remained.
