Laborer charged with unlawful sexual intercourse released on bail

BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Nov. 30, 2017–Justin Foreman, 22, a laborer of Independence who was remanded into custody on a charge of unlawful sexual intercourse, was released on a bail of $7,500 that was granted to him today by Justice Adolph Lucas.

Foreman was arraigned in Independence Magistrate’s Court on November 22. The incident for which he has been charged, occurred on October 2. The complainant, a primary school student who was 12 years and 11 months old at the time, reported to the police that Foreman took her to a house in Bella Vista and had sex with her.

Foreman was represented at the bail hearing by attorney Anthony Sylvestre. The Crown was represented by Crown Counsel Janelle Tillett.
