Drug Trafficking – On Monday, at about 3:30 p.m. on August 26, police were on mobile patrol in Roaring Creek Village when their attention was drawn to one Jamar Thompson, 26, who threw a bottle to the ground. The bottle was retrieved and police observed that it contained 1.8 grams of crack cocaine. Thompson was then arrested and charged for drug trafficking.
 
Burglary – Nolbert Rancharan, 36, manager of CP Gas Station, reported that on Sunday, at about 10:30 p.m., he left his business place, located at #1 Carrillo Puerto Avenue, Santa Elena Town, properly secured and upon making checks on Monday at 6:00 a.m., he discovered that it was burglarized. A safe, containing an assortment of jewelries valued at $30,000, was stolen. Police have detained Brian Roland, 18; Joshua Coleman, 19; and Shayan Garnett, 24, all gas attendants, and Raymond Rudon, 22, a taxi driver of Santa Elena Town, pending charges.
 
Burglary – On Sunday, August 24, at 6:20 p.m., Dennis Eiley, 19, a laborer of San Francisco Street, Orange Walk Town, reported that between August 18-24, his house was burglarized and stolen there from was an assortment of electronic devices valued at $4,259.00.
 
On 24.08.08 at 7:40 p.m., police visited Naranja Street, Orange Walk Town, where Sarah Hernandez, 32, reported that on Sunday about 7:15 p.m., a wooden building (REO ADVENTURES bar), was seen on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished by the fire department, but the value of the house and damages are yet to be ascertained.
 
Kept Firearm/Ammunition Without License – On 26.08.08, at 7:35 p.m., police were on mobile patrol on Cemetery Lane, where a minor was seen throwing an object in the nearby bushes. A (.38) revolver (Smith and Wesson Brand) with four live rounds were retrieved. The minor, 17, was subsequently arrested and charged for keeping a firearm and ammunition without a gun license. 
 
Benque Viejo Town – On 26.08.08, at 3:18 p.m., a freight truck (L/P C842BFB) driven by Otoniel Pineda Guzman , 33, a Guatemalan of Izabal, Guatemala City, was stopped at a police check point. A search was conducted inside the truck, which led to the discovery of 183.2 grams of suspected crack cocaine inside a bag. Guzman was then transported to the police station, where he was detained pending charges. 
 
Corozal District – Property Recovered: Reference report made and reference the murder of Wilhem Braun, on 21.08.08, three Belizean passports and one Mexican passport have been discovered: Belizean passport #A116157 issued to Wilhem Braun of Durango, Mexico, a Belizean passport #P0020641 issued to Susana Daniels, a Belizean passport #P0011127 issued to Susana Daniels, and a Mexican passport #BEE-00045 issued to Wilhem Voght Braun. The four passports were retrieved and held as exhibits. 
 
Toledo District – Arrest – Reference report sent on 21.08.08. Police have arrested and charged Roberto Bul, 22, security guard of Mafredi Village, for unlawful carnal knowledge.   
 
Cayo District – Theft: Phillis Lance, 56, a businesswoman residing at Black Rock Lodge, Cayo District, reported that on Monday, August 25, she parked her white Land Rover (unlocked) in front of JNC Mall on Burns Avenue, San Ignacio Town. Upon making checks at 11:30 p.m., she discovered that her Toshiba laptop (value $4,000.00) was missing. 
 
ARREST – Reference report of carnal knowledge sent on July 27. Police have arrested and charged Mario Olivera, 42, a Housing Inspector of San Pedro Town, for carnal knowledge. 
 
Aggravated Assault – Michael Lewis, 24, of Benguche Area, Dangriga Town reported that on 27.08.08 at 11:20 p.m., he was walking on Saint Vincent Street and upon approaching the main bridge, an unknown male person approached him and pulled out a 9mm firearm, pointed it at him and pulled the trigger, but the gun snapped. Police are investigating.
