Dear Editor,

I’m reading my passages this morning, Saturday, as all people should, everyday Mr. Editor, and after the Psalms I’m over at Acts. Acts Chapter 11, to be specific, and this morning it occurs to me while reading my verse, the absolute genius of the political move by Saint Peter here. Of course my thoughts are purely secular. In no way am I invading the turf of the theologians—ground doves and frigate birds don’t fly in the same air.

This inclusion of the Gentiles would open the door, lead to a massive expansion of The Christ’s movement. Up to this point, only the Jews can go in. When the apostles heard what Peter had done, they were up in arms. This cannot be. The Good News was not for everyone. Peter explains that it came to him in a vision, three times. (See Acts Chapter 11, verses 5 to 10)

And this is wonderful. But much of what happens next, isn’t. We have dredged this muck before. But certain hawks need to be reminded. You would have thought that having been out in the cold, and I mean disallowed at Heaven’s door, that the blessings they had been gifted with, they would have been eager to share with the Blacks in the African nations and the Browns in Peru, Mexico, and the Plains.

And some of them did. But for far too many of them, they were about selfish use of their good fortune. That’s why they went out and made themselves a white Jesus.

The Son of God was white, so pure white was a superior being. My brothers and sisters, people (the white ancestors) who were rejected, turned around and took advantage of others because of the color of their skins! Yes, these same Pizarro, Cortes, and Columbus, there was a time when they could not enter the gates of Heaven. The ungrateful wretches! They seized the unearned good fortune and used it to subjugate others.

This is the gall that is souring my mouth as I pen this letter. Who the heck were these white ancestors at the very beginning? On what do the white ancestors base their superiority? They were in a sailing boat, not a steamship with radar, when they stumbled (crashed on the rocks) in Hispaniola. The steam engine would not be developed until two hundred years later. And radar was almost 450 years in coming.

All our white ancestors had that was superior was weaponry. You ever seen anyone excel at something they don’t have a passion for? Our white ancestors had bullets, and guns, and gunpowder, which they used to murder and subjugate our black and brown ancestors. The white ancestors stole the land of the black and brown ancestors, and they used the wealth they stole to make bigger and more deadly weaponry.

Our white ancestors used their weapons on themselves too. It is not lost on those who pay attention that the Aryan Jesus they concocted (for a wicked purpose) was the very one Hitler used to stir racism against the Jews.

Our white ancestors have made a lot of gains after invading Africa and the Americas. Not all the magnificent profits they made they ploughed back into warfare. Bully for them, some was invested in projects to advance science and technology too. But far too much goes into warring the earth and colored people, this from a people who weren’t originally in the fold.
