In Game 1 on Tuesday night at the MCC Garden, 2ndplace BTL and 3rdplace BPFL/Travelers played to a highly contested 1-1 draw. Ryan Bradley scored in the 5thminute of play to give BPFL/Travelers the early 1-nil lead. But in the 25thminute of play of the first half, Shawn Moreira scored the equalizer for BTL. Both teams are normally offensive minded. But the defense took over on both ends of the field as neither side was willing to give in. In the second game, Lobo Wood Moldings had upset on their minds when they got the early jump on NSC from a goal by Leon Lord in the 9thminute. That must have really upset NSC, because it was a female player, Andrea Sender, who made the assist to Lord. NSC finally came up with the late equalizer from Raymond Sanchez in the 36thminute of play. NSC eventually got the lead from a goal in the 44thminute by Eric Usher. No goals were scored in the second half as NSC went on to win by the score of 2-1. In Game 1 played last night at the MCC Garden, ACROS extended their unbeaten streak to 4 games with a 2-nil victory over Atlantic Bank. Both goals came in the first half, from Gabriel Guzman in the 15thminute and Marlon Jones in the 30th minute. ACROS is now tied with KOLBE Foundation with 10 points, but have the slight advantage in goal differential.
