BELIZE CITY, Fri. Sept. 25, 2020– Today, 27 Belizean deportees from the US criminal justice system touched down at the Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA); they came from a number of holding centers from many states across the US.

These states are all battling to control the spread of COVID-19.

The deportees, men and women, were all tested for COVID-19 infection, and will be quarantined in the Cayo District.
