DANGRIGA TOWN, Stann Creek District, Mon. Aug. 8, 2016–A disturbing video circulating on Facebook has led to the detention of three women. In the video, gone viral, three women are seen parking their beach cruiser bicycles and storming into a woman’s house, where they assaulted her.

The victim, whose children were seen screaming uncontrollably in the video, witnessed their mother’s clothing being torn from her body as she was slapped, punched, and pulled in the hair repeatedly.

Footage shows the children fleeing from the scene of the incident.

The victim, who initially was heard telling the trio not to enter her house, was pinned to a wall, where she was hit repeatedly.

One of the trio, obviously pregnant, retrieved a large knife from the back of her pants and placed it menacingly against the victim.

However, the footage came to an end after a man entered the house and warned the women to stop.

Dangriga police told Amandala that the incident occurred on Sunday. However, the trio have not yet been charged, nor have their names been released. Neither has the scope of the victim’s injuries been released.
