A UDP?s opinion

LettersA UDP?s opinion

I strongly believe that our party has a great opportunity to make the change for a better Belize, but I am deeply concerned about this issue.

Many would say that we should not mention talk like this because it does not make for good party politics. Nevertheless, I feel that this thought rings throughout this nation and one should be brave enough to speak out for the betterment of our party.

Mr. Barrow needs to start a journey of visiting all communities in this country, every village, every town and meet the people with a view of telling the people what he and the UDP have to offer the people of Belize.

Humbly speaking, if he chooses to be a lawyer, and keeps in his law firm office in Belize City, then that is his choice. As always, Mr. Editor, you have written about the truth, and this is no exception. Mr. Barrow needs to decide NOW. Will he be the attorney, or will he be the leader of the political party UDP? Mr. Barrow, my humble opinion, be the leader of the UDP Party now, or resign and let Mr. Esquivel take up the leadership.

I write, Mr. Editor, as a progressive UDP, and I know that I take a great chance at not having this article published, but for the good of the party this concern has to be put to rest once and for all.

God bless Belize.

(Signed)

A faithful but concerned UDP
