Amandala’s Rochelle Gillett marries Matthew Flowers

HighlightsAmandala’s Rochelle Gillett marries Matthew Flowers

On Sunday, October 13, Amandala staff reporter Rochelle Gillett tied the knot with Matthew Flowers at the Mt. Zion S.D.A. Tabernacle. The service was intimate and non-traditional, with the dapper looking groom being escorted up the aisle by his two lovely step-daughters, Ianne and Quianna Gillett.

The bride was elegant in her wedding gown, and instead of being given away by her father, she was escorted up the aisle by her son, Maliq Gillett, and her step-son Lexan Flowers, with Maliq acknowledging Matthew’s request of his mother’s hand in marriage with a handshake.

Giacomo Sanchez, brother of the groom, and Natalie Gideon, a close friend of the bride, acted as best man and maid of honor, and Ps. Jerome Bevans officiated the service.

The reception was held at the residence of Giacomo Sanchez, where the small group of family and close friends ended up celebrating with the bride and groom.

Amandala congratulates the happy couple.
