Aris Cacho, 34, charged with raping the same 16-year-old ? again

GeneralAris Cacho, 34, charged with raping the same 16-year-old ? again

The girl reported to police that on Thursday, October 27, while she was staying at his house, he entered her bedroom. She alleged that Cacho told her that he wanted to have sex with her. When she declined, he pushed her on a sponge that was on the floor, and as she was about to scream, he pulled out a knife and put it on her left shoulder.

The girl told police that Cacho told her that if she screamed, he would put the knife to her neck. Cacho then took off his clothes and raped her, the girl said.

Cacho already was on a $5,000 bail in connection with a charge of rape in connection with this same 16-year-old. It is alleged that between September 1, 2004, and October 22, 2004, Cacho raped the girl, and the incident took place in the Stann Creek District.

Magistrate Sharon Frazer, who conducted the arraignment, ordered that Cacho reappear in court on Wednesday, November 30.

It is reported that from the alleged rape incident in 2004, the girl got pregnant.

The case regarding the previous rape charge will commence in the Dangriga Supreme Court on Wednesday, November 16, 2005.
