GeneralAubrey Brown, 55, stabbed on Johnson Street

BELIZE CITY, Sat. Aug. 15, 2020– Aubrey Brown, 55, a laborer of Johnson Street, is presently admitted at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) in a serious condition, with a stab wound in his chest.

Police say that Brown was stabbed by a man with whom he had become involved in an altercation at about 1:30 this morning on Johnson Street, in front of his house.

Police said that they found Brown lying on the roadside in front of his house with stab wounds in the right side of his chest. He was rushed to the KHMH.

Police are waiting for Brown to recover so that he can give them a statement, which will be of assistance to them as they carry out an investigation.

Aubrey, reportedly, is the son of the late Justice Sir George Noel Brown (13th June 1942 – 26th July 2007), who was the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Belize from 1991 to 1998 — the second native-born Belizean to be elevated to the position.
