BELIZE CITY, Mon. Jan. 4, 2016–The Belize District Football Association (BDFA) Interim Committee U-15 football tournament continued yesterday, Sunday, at the MCC with the Week 9 scheduled games.
In game 1, Face of Belize and Hattieville Riverside Boys played to a 3-3 draw. Orlin Garcia scored 1 and Mario Galindo scored 2 goals for Face of Belize, while Mario Rivera got 1 and Jadon McGregor got 2 goals for the Riverside Boys.
Game 2 saw Smart Brown Bombers getting the win by default over Ladyville Rising Stars.
Game 3 was another default, with Berger United getting the win over Collet Strikers.
And in game 4, undefeated City Boys crushed Ladyville Jaguars, 4-1, with Akeem Sutherland and Denroy Lopez scoring a goal apiece, and Kenroy Linares netting 2 goals for City Boys; while Lyndon Flowers scored for the Jaguars.
There are 2 weeks of back matches remaining to complete the regular season, after which the top 4 teams will enter knockout semifinals. The first week of back matches are set for this coming weekend:
