BELIZE CITY, Mon. Sept. 4, 2017–The Belize District Football Association (BDFA) Interoffice Football Tournament 2017 is nearing completion. Four games were played last week at the MCC, and games scheduled for this week Wednesday and Thursday nights will complete the regular season.
In the opener last Wednesday, August 30, Deportivo Los Alcones and BTL played to a 0-0 draw. And in the nightcap, Latinos FC defeated Brodies, 2-1. Maynor Hernandez (33’ & 40’) struck twice for Latinos, while Robert Jones (5’) scored for Brodies.
Last Thursday’s opener was 2-2 draw between KHMH and Belize City Council (BCC). Orland Lyons (20’) and Daren Leal (28’) shook the net for BCC; while Charles Canton (14’) tallied for KHMH, who also benefited from an own goal by BCC’s Reynaldo Duran (auto goal). And in the nightcap, Tourist Village/Transparent BPO dropped Customs, 2-1, with goals from Carlos Lino (50’) and Jason Duran (66’); while Shamar Thompson (30’) got the only goal for Customs.

Thursday, September 7
7:00 p.m. – Tourist Village Tennants vs BWS Pressure
