BELIZE CITY, Mon. Oct. 17, 2016–A release today from the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) says that Belize has been selected in Group A for the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship Bahamas 2017, which was determined in a draw today, Monday, in Florida. Other Group A members are Bahamas, Jamaica and Guyana. Group B includes Mexico, Guatemala, Canada and Guadeloupe; Group C – USA, Trinidad & Tobago, Antigua & Barbuda, and US Virgin Islands; and Group D – El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, and Turks & Caicos.
Belize’s Group A schedule consists of games against Jamaica on Monday, February 20; Bahamas on Tuesday, February 21, and Guyana on Wednesday, February 22 of 2017.
All games will take place at the Malcolm Beach Soccer Facility in the Bahamas.
