BELMOPAN, Mon. Aug. 10, 2020– Police are looking for the person or persons who vandalized the Belmopan Nazarene Church (whose pastor is the well-known Louis Wade of Plus TV) as well as benches in the park and other structures in the city. The word “MS 13” was spray-painted on the buildings and benches.
MS 13 is a criminal gang that originated in Salvador and is known for the cruelty of its members. The machete is their weapon of choice, and is used to chop their enemies, instead of shooting them.
They have already taken root in Central America and the United States.
