The Belmopan City Council Kids Cup 2012, organized by BNFA, commenced its tournament on Saturday, January 28, with 12 teams from the surrounding areas. The BNFA would like to take this opportunity to thank the Mayor, Mr. Simeon Lopez, his Deputy, Mr. Amilcar Umania, the Belmopan City Council and the City of Belmopan for the sponsorship of this year’s Belmopan City Council Kids Cup 2012.

Zone A – Salvapan-1 Real Madrid; Mountain View La Coruna; YWAM Valencia; Salvapan-2 Benfica; Central Site Tottenham; Roaring Creek Gremio.
Zone B – Site 7 Barcelona; San Martin Manchester United; Armenia La Roma; Maya Mopan Chelsea; Piccini Inter Milan; Las Flores Ajax.
In Week 1 games on Saturday, January 28, Salvapan-1 Real Madrid defeated Roaring Creek Gremio, 1-0, on a goal by Ivan Carranza (22 min). Central Site Tottenham blanked Mountain View La Coruna, 3-nil, with goals from Mcguette Reid (4 min), Tajh Reid (28 min) and Elton Gordon (58 min). And YWAM Valencia blasted Salvapan-2 Benfica, 8-0, with goals from Josiah Torres (7, 13, 27 & 44 min), Jalen Myers (24 & 33 min) and Eddy Figueroa (39 & 49 min).
Week 2 games, scheduled for Saturday, February 4, were postponed due to heavy rains and wet field.
Three games were played on Sunday, February 5. The first game was a 1-1 draw between Maya Mopan Chelsea and Las Flores Ajax, with goal scorers Rayan Icho (49 min) for Maya Mopan and Derrick Madrid (34 min) for Las Flores. In game 2, Site 7 Barcelona got the 2-nil win over Piccini Inter Milan, with 2 goals from Jalin Pelayo (12 & 30 min). The last game saw Armenia La Roma playing to a 1-1 draw with San Martin Manchester United. Eldon Chaic (21 min) put Armenia in front, but Franklin Enriquez (34 min) equalized for San Martin.
