GeneralBradley Paumen gets passport and court’s permission to travel

BELIZE CITY, Fri. Sept. 30, 2016–Bradley Paumen, the American tour operator and owner of the Dark Knight cave tubing company who has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder for allegedly “putting hits on” (arranging the attempted murder of) four persons and who is also facing other indictable offences, was granted court permission to travel to the United Sates this morning.

Paumen’s attorney, Herbert Panton, asked the court for another variation on his client’s bail. A few weeks ago, based on a similar application, Justice John “Troadio” Gonzalez gave Paumen permission to travel to the United States.

Today’s application was made before Madam Justice, Antoinette Moore, who was hearing bail applications in the Belize judicial district of the Supreme Court.

Panton submitted that his client is asking the court permission to retrieve his passport so that he could travel to Missouri, his home state, from October 7 to October 28.

Justice Moore inquired about the details of Paumen application and after she was satisfied that he was not a flight risk, the court granted him permission to retrieve his passport to facilitate his travel to the United States.

On August 12, Panton had made a similar application before Justice Gonzalez, asking permission for Paumen to travel to the USA.

On January 15, 2016, Paumen was granted bail of $50,000 plus one surety of the same amount, with stringent conditions. He is presently awaiting trial at the Supreme Court on serious allegations which were made against him by his neighbor, Michael Moderi, and others, whom he allegedly conspired to murder.
