Captain Charlton Roaches of the B.D.F., the new champion, is well deserved of this championship and he has himself contributed tremendously to Belizean chess by his affiliation with the Canadian Chess Federation and sharing of the international material that will become the standard chess information resource of the Junior Chess course intended to be used for primary school chess clubs. October 12 is the date set for the next chess tourney at Water Caye. It will be a Blitz tourney. Anyone wishing to be a part of it may register today at the Turton Library Center. There will be two categories of 18 years up and 13 ? 18 years for the second category.
