BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Apr. 5, 2018– Before he demitted office earlier this year, former Belize City mayor Darrell Bradley signed a 4-year contract with city administrator Candice Miller, saddling the incoming city administration with Miller for four years, one year beyond the legal life of the new city council.

Notwithstanding Miller’s “good fortune” in landing such a contract, late word out of City Hall tonight is that she has been suspended for dereliction of her fiduciary duties to the newly elected People’s United Party (PUP)-controlled Belize City Council.

Amandala understands that Miller, who has been the city administrator for two-term Mayor Bradley, will continue to receive her salary during her suspension period.
