Cricket Corner – Zone One took care of Zone Two

BELIZE CITY, Wed. Apr. 15, 2015–It was a pleasant day on Saturday, April 11, in Rancho Dolores. The All Star game was played in a T/20 format. Zone One took to bat first, and in 20 overs the team scored 102 runs. After a lunch break, Zone Two took to bat, and in 16 overs all were out for 66 runs.

On Sunday in St. Paul’s, the Under 15 started. At the closing of the first day, three teams are scheduled to continue this Sunday in Double Head. The three teams are Double Head, Rancho Dolores and St. Paul’s, who have each won one game and lost one. All are invited to come out and watch the finishing.

The regular season in the second half continues this weekend with the following scheduled games: ZONE ONE – Western Eagles vs Excelsior at St. Paul’s; Police takes on Easy Does It at Lemonal; and Excellence goes to Sandhill against Bright Star; and in ZONE TWO – Brilliant goes against Suga Boys in Carmelita; Brave Union battles Wicked11 at Flowers Bank; Isabella Uprising travels to Landing to face Berlan; and Cahsu Medicos meets Sunrise in Lords Bank.
