Cricket scores from 2014 Harrison Parks National Cricket Competition

The Belize National Cricket Association had its third week of games this past weekend in the 2014 Harrison Parks National Cricket Competition, and we just received a few results from Mr. Peter Young for the games played the previous week on February 22 and 23, which we share below:

On Saturday, February 22, Easy Does It won 235- 120 over Brave 11. Aaron Muslar scored 127 runs and Kenroy Reynolds took 7 wickets for Easy Does It; while Derick McFadzean scored 32 runs and Dorian Gabb took 3 wickets for Brave 11. Western Eagles were 162 for 9, while Excelsior only made 44 runs. Tristan Pook top scored (? runs) and took 4 wickets for Western Eagles, while Brian Casasola top scored (? runs) and took 3 wickets for Excelsior. Defending champions Excellence scored 165 runs with 2 wickets to spare, to beat Police’s mark of 162 runs. Kenroy Roca scored 37 runs and Marlon Broaster took 3 wickets for Excellence, while Walton Banner scored 65 runs and Byron Claire took 3 wickets for Police. Brave Union scored 98 runs to Suga Boys’ 72 runs. Shane Young scored 24 runs and Zaghi took all 10 wickets for the victorious Brave Union; while Orvin Wade scored 29 runs and Jamie Wade took 4 wickets for Suga Boys. Sunrise only needed 35 runs with 8 wickets to spare to eclipse the total of 34 scored by Cashu Medicus. Gareth Joseph scored 23 runs and Edison Parks took 4 wickets for Sunrise. Brilliant defeated Isabella, 90-89, with 5 spare wickets. Berlan went to Flowers Bank for their game against Wicked Eleven, but the pitch was not playable.

In the only game played on Sunday, February 23, Brave Union only scored 42, but it was enough to defeat Cashu Medicus who could only muster 29 runs. Zaghi top scored (? runs) and took 5 wickets for Brave Union.
