Outta Trenchtown features 12 tracks, including an instrumental. Listed on the album are Boss, Ghi Ghi Whap, Medley, People Fava People, and Problems.

The production was done with Kareem Wallace of Enigma Cooperation, a studio on East Canal, Belize City. Other collaborators include featured artists Ghetto Links, Simone, Shaggi and Beaton; co-producer Jr. Krys; Sons of Negus; and Mose and Michael Hyde of KREM Radio.

In an interview with Amandala, Dan Man said that his songs are inspired by pure reality?the reality he lives and the reality of other Belizeans, who are never short of ideas on what he could sing about.

As to his musical style, he said there are ?no boundaries.? On Outta Trenchtown, he includes a mixture of styles, but his dominant genre is dancehall.

Dan Man said that he has been inspired by international artists like Capleton, Beenie Man, Buju and his latest inspiration ? Sizzla. His local heroes are Russian, Kenny Morgan, Kenny G, Longy Lee and Gambino, and his support network includes Hot Wire and the Heights of Vibes crew.

If you?re wondering why the album is titled Outta Trenchtown, Dan Man explained that Trenchtown is the part of the Lake Independence area from where he hails. It is the area that runs from just behind the Belize Water Services to the Jasmine Street area, and it got its name from its first settler – Supa Fly.

The Jamaican flavor in his music connects him back to his great-grandfather, Jamaican Julius Pitts, and his wife, Maria.

Dan Man plans to promote his new CD on Albert Street, near Brodies, beginning Friday, October 29.
