Michael Buylding, AKA Michael Davis, 52, was charged with four counts of carnal knowledge of minor, 14; he also was charged last year with indecent assault for allegedly touching woman, 18, on her private parts as she slept.

Today, Michael Buylding, AKA Michael Davis, 52, was charged with four counts of carnal knowledge when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Sharon Fraser.

Buylding/Davis, a former deacon of Crooked Tree’s Adventist Church who was stripped of his post nearly a year ago for indecent behavior unbecoming a deacon, is alleged to have had sexual intercourse with a female minor on four different occasions, all of which occurred last year.

The first time was on July 2, 2012, when the child was 14 years and 2 months old; it again happened on August 1, 2012, and September 4, 2012, and then for the last time on November 13, 2012, when the minor was 14 years and 6 months old.

No pleas were taken from Buylding/Davis because the matters are indictable and will be heard in the Supreme Court. Buylding/Davis could not be offered bail for these charges either and was remanded to the Belize Central Prison.

This is the second time Buylding/Davis is before the court; in November of last year he was charged with aggravated assault of an indecent nature after it was alleged that he touched the private parts of a young woman, 18, as she slept.

He had pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail, but since that time police had been investigating the reports of carnal knowledge committed by him.

Buylding/Davis is scheduled to appear back in court on both the indecent nature charge and the carnal knowledge charges on October 28, 2013.
