Haynes was at home with his girlfriend when police arrived.
Haynes was wanted since Saturday, July 22, because police said that he was along with Robert Jones in a green Mazda car, from which Garcia was shot.
Police had reported that Garcia was standing on a verandah of his neighbor?s home on Lovely Lane, hanging out with a group of friends when a heavily tinted green four-door Mazda car pulled up and someone pushed a firearm through the car window and fired several shots at the group, one of which caught Garcia in the chest.
Police arrested Jones shortly after the shooting.
Jones, 22, a resident of Evergreen Street in Belize City, and Haynes are expected to appear in the Magistrate?s Court tomorrow, where they will be jointly charged with attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, and dangerous harm.
