BELIZE CITY, Mon. May 17, 2021– Over the weekend, on Saturday, May 15, the pump prices of two types of fuel increased.
The Government of Belize issued a release late on Friday evening to inform the nation of increases in the prices of premium and regular gasoline, effective May 15, 2021.
Premium gas, which previously was being sold for $11.26 per gallon, now costs $11.54 per gallon, after a 28-cent increase. The price of regular gas has been increased by 26 cents, from $10:69 to $10.95 cents per gallon.
The prices of other fuel products remain unchanged.
