Karen cries for help

LettersKaren cries for help

Dear Editor,

I was the unfortunate victim of a vehicle break-in on Friday, March 13, along the Newtown Barracks area just across from Hour Bar and Marina Towers. Many personal effects were removed from the vehicle, some of which are irreplaceable.

According to the CIB that came to the scene, I wasn’t the only one who has been robbed in that area. I’d like to know why nothing was ever said to warn the public or even some form of police detail circling every now and again.

These individuals broke the glass and entered through the window. Someone passing in the area must have seen something suspicious going on. If anyone did see anything, I’d appreciate them calling the police and providing this information, as this might help to ensure that another person doesn’t become the victim of these individuals.

Thanks, I appreciate any help.

Karen Hyde
