BELIZE CITY, Fri. Mar. 19, 2021– A Belize City man has been arrested and charged for the brutal double murder on Logwood Street which took place last Wednesday night. Cynthia Conorquie, 49-years old, and Allen Garcia, 21, were both fatally shot by a lone gunman who entered a yard in which they were standing.
That person, the alleged killer, has since been identified as Richard Bennett, a 23-year-old Belize City resident. He has since been arrested and charged with two counts of murder and is expected to be arraigned in due course and remanded to the Belize Central Prison for the indictable offense.
