BELIZE CITY, Tues. Sept. 22, 2020– The nude body of Orlando “Easy Bob” Vasquez, 47, a laborer of Rivero Street, was found by the sea near the House of Culture on Regent Street on Sunday afternoon, September 20.
Those who saw the body said that they did not see signs of violence on him, but blood was seen coming out of one of his ears.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Hilberto Romero said that Velasquez’s body was taken to the morgue, and they are awaiting the results of a postmortem exam to certify the cause of his death.
Romero said that Velasquez was last seen by his family on Sunday morning and they reported that he had been suffering with hypertension for some time, and that he was negligent in taking his medications. They also mentioned that the area where he was found was his favorite spot to go swimming.
