Santa Cruz Village, Stann Creek District, Fri. May 7, 2021– On Friday, May 7, 28-year-old Otis Gladden was shot and killed in Santa Cruz village sometime before 7:00 p.m.

Police had responded to a report of the incident and went to the scene of the shooting, where they found the motionless body of Gladden. According to reports, Gladden was at home when he was called outside by the alleged gunmen. Shortly after he made his way outside his home, one of the gunmen fired shots, which fatally injured him.

Gladden was later rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
