Three times did Verdes Jrs. go in front, and three times Conquerors equalized, the 3-3 tie coming in injury time. Regulation goals for Verdes Jrs. were by Danny Jimenez (11’ & 24’) and Byron Manzanero (84’), while the equalizers for Conquerors came from Wayne Ford (13’), Harrison Roches (69’) and Evan Mariano (90+’). With kickoff time 3:00 p.m. at the Victor Sanchez Union Field in Punta Gorda, it was a southern showdown that went into overtime between Toledo’s Mavericks FC and Mid-South’s Bamba’s FC, with Mavericks getting the 3-2 overtime victory.
