   The National Basketball Tournament 2022, being coordinated countrywide by the National Sports Council, completed its Week 2 games for Belize City on Wednesday and Thursday of last week, June 22 and 23, at the Marion Jones Sports Complex. There are 6 teams in the U15 category, 7 in the U18, and 11 in the Open category of the Belize City competition.

Wednesday, June 22

   (Open) Westland defeated Belama Gators, 56-37. Westland – Alex Ariola 17 pts. Belama Gators – Travis Baptist 15 pts.

   (Open) Island Ballaz over Eagles SC, 61-53. Island Ballaz – Raymond Gongora 18pts. Eagles SC – Ryan Michael 25 pts.

   (Open) No Limit, 62-40, over Garcia’s Motors. No Limit – Brandon Rogers 18 pts. Garcia’s Motors – Jarret Davis 12 pts.

Thursday, June 23

   (U15) 24/8 defeated Little Jaguars, 33-22. 24/8 – Amare Rhys 4 pts. Little Jaguars – Ajare August 8 pts.

   (U18) We Got Game over Boy Warriors, 54-30. We Got Game – Jared Mena and Cameron Heusner 11 pts each.  Boy Warriors – Fitzroy McClaren and Tyrique Flowers 9 pts each.

   (U18) 501 Gators, 46-27, over FSN Vision – Jahred Bodden 10 pts. FSN Vision – David Maheia 11 pts.

   (U18) ABS Hard Rock crushed OTM Ballers, 94-11. ABS Hard Rock – Devin Moody 16 pts.  OTM Ballers – Marquis Rodriguez 6 pts.

   (Open) Complex Titans, 72-67, over Boom Ballers. Complex Titans – Francis Arana 24 pts. Boom Ballers – Malcolm Gallego – 17 pts.
