While Nuru is best known as a Punta Rocker, Realidad includes songs from other genres, and Nuru demonstrates his stylistic versatility particularly with the reggae pieces on this new album.

?In his sixteen years in the music industry, Nuru has taken his career as an institution where he has combined what he has learned from the many aspects of music and its pundits to incorporate it in his latest and most awaited sophomore album entitled ?Reality ? Realidad,? Nuru?s biography states.

Nuru, a former member of the Sound City Band, also has a prior Punta Rock release titled Luragante Walagante (History of Our Roots), on which he included selections such as the title track, Luragante Walagante, Umadagu (Friends), Buna Boun (Build our home), and Liru Hondura (Sorrows of Honduras.)

Nuru has performed in Belize, Honduras, CARIFESTA in Trinidad and Tobago, and Mexico.

He is a vocalist, instrumentalist, songwriter, arranger and engineer.

He has also collaborated with artists such as Mohobub Flores, Andy Palacio, Aziatic, Chico Ramos and Paula Castillo.
