ORANGE WALK TOWN, Mon. July 1, 2019– The Orange Walk Billiards Association (OWBA) is pleased to report another peaceful weekend of billiards for this year’s Belikin 8-Ball Tournament. Here are the results for games played Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
On Friday, June 28, at Darvis, it was Emalee defeating Eagles, 3 games to 2; while at Nostalgia it was Zia’s who defeated Emalee Jr., 4 games to 1.
Saturday, June 29, games hosted by Zia’s at Eagles Cool Spot saw Jaguars defeat Nostalgia, 4 games to 1; while Eagles defeated Zia’s, 3 games to 2. At Nostalgia, it was Dados defeating Chatta, 3 games to 2; while Emalee Jr. fell, 4 games to 1, against Darvis.
On Sunday, there were three games played at Darvis. In game one, Emalee Jr. fell to Jaguars, 3 games to 2; Zia’s defeated Chatta, 3 games to 2; and Darvis defeated Dados, 4 games to 1.
Upcoming games for this weekend are as follows: On Friday, July 5, it will be Jaguars and Dados at Eagles Cool Spot, and Nostalgia vs Eagles at Chatta. On Saturday, July 6, at Lion King, it will be Chatta vs Nostalgia, and Lion King vs Jaguars; while at Eagles Cool Spot, it will be Darvis vs Emalee, and Dados vs Eagles. On Sunday, July 7, at Eagles Cool Spot, it will be Lion King vs Zia’s, Emalee Jr. vs Nostalgia, and Eagles vs Jaguars.
