BELIZE CITY, Thurs. June 27, 2019– Scoring details are still not available for the 3 games played on Saturday night, June 22, in the Belize National Over-40 Football Tournament 2019; but reports of the final scores show San Pedro Veterans with the 4-0 win over BDF at Ambergris Stadium; Kulture Yabra Veterans and Santels United Veterans playing to a 0-0 draw at the MCC Grounds; and Belmopan Veterans with a 2-1 win over Roaring Creek United Veterans at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium.
After the 4 games scheduled for the upcoming weekend, one more week of games plus a back match will remain to complete the double round-robin regular season. That back match is in the South Group between Golden Eagles FC and Real Verdes Veterans, who are both in contention for the second playoff spot in their group. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinal playoffs. Kulture Yabra Veterans from the North and Belmopan Veterans from the South have already sealed a spot in the semifinals.
