Police seek stepfather for molesting 15- and 16-year-old girls

CrimePolice seek stepfather for molesting 15- and 16-year-old girls

Corozal police are seeking the stepfather , 48, of two female minors, 15 and 16, of Corozal, to charge him with aggravated assault of an indecent nature after he allegedly sexually assaulted them.

Police said that on Saturday, a 16-year-old girl, accompanied by her mother, a Belizean businesswoman of Corozal Town, reported that early Saturday morning, at about 3:00, while sleeping in her room with her sister, 15, she felt someone touching her on her vagina. She woke up, but didn’t see anyone.

She went back to sleep, but again she felt someone pushing a hand under her sheet, again touching her private parts. When the girl quickly opened her eyes, she saw that it was her stepfather.

She quickly reacted and pulled his hair, since his hair is long, she said. She further stated that her stepfather grabbed her hands, scratching her hand and causing her to let him go in the process. He then went out of the room.

When she thought that he was already sleeping, she went back to sleep. Suddenly she opened her eyes again, and saw that her stepfather was touching her sister, who was sleeping beside her, on her breast. She tried to slap him on the hand, but missed. He then went away again.

About 7:00 Saturday morning, she woke up because she again felt that someone was touching her private parts. When she opened her eyes, she noticed that her stepfather was again fondling her. He then left the room, the girl reported.

The girl told her mother what was happening, and they went to the Corozal police and made a formal report.

Police are now looking for the stepfather, but have as yet not been able to locate him.
