BE IT RESOLVED: that in recognition of the gratitude for the contribution made by the CARIBS in the settlement of this part of the colony of British Honduras commemoration be held on the nineteenth day of November in each year and that a copy of this resolution be recorded in a special manner and preserved for the benefit of our prosperity. AMANDALA, a biweekly newspaper published on Tuesdays and Fridays, was founded as an organ of the United Black Association for Development (UBAD), which emerged on August 13, 1969. Even after UBAD was divided and later dissolved in 1974, AMANDALA remained.
