BELIZE CITY, Tues. May 20, 2025

Undefeated Royal Fusion are the No.1 seed entering the Belize District Football Association (BDFA) Under-15 girls playoffs, after enjoying their 5th win in Week 6 at the Berger Field in Belize City on Saturday morning, May 17.

In Game 1, Jocelyn Zuniga (12’) and Clayian Swazo (33’) led Royal Fusion’s 2-1 win over the Ladyville Goal Getters, for whom Audalyssa “Treasure” Bowen (35’) scored a late consolation goal. Shanie Meighan, Sheren Humes, Saderia Escalante and Jaznique Staine came off the Royal Fusion bench to keep the offensive pressure on the Goal Getters to the final whistle. Royal Fusion enters the playoffs with 16 pts from 5 wins and 1 draw.

Alvian Strikers U-15 girls

In Game 2, the Alvian Strikers romped to their 3rd win, 3-0, over the KP Strikers led by Camryn Henry’s brace (41’ & 48’), and Treniece Amaya’s free kick (48’) that screamed into the vee of crossbar and left upright: 3-0 final. Alvian Strikers enters the playoffs as the No. 2 seed with 11 pts from 3 wins and 2 draws.
